Itinerary
– Departure time: 06:45 hrs: It begins with a pick-up at your hotel in Puno and then you go to the main dock or port of the city.
– 07:15 am – 10:45 am: Visit to the Floating Islands of the Uros: During this period, you will visit the Floating Islands of the Uros. You will learn about the culture and traditions of the inhabitants of the Uros, who maintain their ancestral lifestyle on these floating islands built with reeds. You will also have the opportunity to observe local crafts and learn about their fishing and subsistence methods.
– 10:45 am – 01:15 pm: Boat trip to Taquile Island: After visiting the Uros, you will board a boat that will take you to Taquile Island. During the trip, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The guide will give you information about the island and its people.
– 01:15 pm – 02:15 pm: Lunch in Taquile: Once on Taquile Island, you will enjoy a typical lunch prepared by the local inhabitants. You will have time to taste the food and explore the island.
