HUMANTAY LAGOON 2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT

– The tour to Humantay Lagoon begins with pickup between 4:30 am and 5:10 am from Cusco.
– During the transportation trip, you will pass through places such as Anta, Mollepata and Limatambo, where you can appreciate local customs and a beautiful landscape.
– The journey from Cusco to Mollepata lasts approximately 2 hours, where a strengthening breakfast will be had for about 20 minutes.
– Then, the tour will continue to Challacancha, where the walk will begin that will allow you to appreciate the Inca canal and the surrounding landscapes. The Inca Canal was crucial for agriculture in Inca times. The guide will provide detailed explanations about these places.
– The next destination will be Soraypampa, where we will have lunch and camp in domes.
– After lunch, we will embark on a walk of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to the Humantay Lagoon, where you can enjoy impressive panoramic views and take photographs.
– Finally, you will return to Soraypampa to spend the first night of this tour to the Humantay Lagoon in Cusco.

– On the second optional day of the tour to Humantay Lagoon, we will start early with a delicious breakfast and appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the place.
– Then, we will undertake a walk to a certain part of Salkantay or Salkantaypampa, which will take approximately 5 hours round trip.
– During the Salkantay road, we will enjoy impressive views of the snow-capped Salkantay and the imposing mountain peaks, which will make us fall in love with these Andean landscapes.
– After the walk, we will return to Soraypampa, where we will board our bus back to Cusco.
