DAY 1: CUSCO ANDES – ALBERGUE, BOSQUE DE NUBES.

– 🐒 Possibility of spotting woolly and capuchin monkeys, as well as insects and other animals.

– 🌿 Continuation of the trip to the town of Pilcopata.
– 🚶 Walk to the native community of Huacaria, where you can observe their way of life and culture, walk their trails and bathe in the rivers.

DAY 3: PILCOPATA – BOSQUE LLUVIOSO PUERTO DE ATALAYA – ALBERGUE
Here is a summary of your activities in the Peruvian jungle!
– 🚗 45 minutes trip to Atalaya (500 meters above sea level).
– 🚤 We will board a motorized boat and navigate for 40 minutes along the Alto Madre de Dios River until we reach the hostel, located on its banks.
– 🌲 During the day, we will explore the surroundings, traveling along interesting paths and ecosystems.
– 🐦 We will visit a small lake where you can see birds such as the prehistoric Hoatzin, alligators, capybaras, squirrel monkeys and many other species of birds.
– 🍽️ Dinner at the hostel.
– 🌃 At night, we will take a night walk to listen to the sounds of the Amazon, such as the night monkey, the Kalinowski rat, frogs, Potoos and the pygmy owl, among other nocturnal inhabitants.

DAY 4: ALBERGUE – COLLPA DE LOROS – CUSCO
Here is a summary of your last experience in the Peruvian jungle:
– 🚤 Very early, we will navigate for 15 minutes down the river to reach the parrot clay lick.
– 🦜 In this place, you will enjoy an impressive spectacle of color and noise, as different species of parrots and parakeets gather in the clay lick.
– 🚗 Then, we will take our vehicle back to Atalaya.
– 🕕 The return trip will take us back to Cusco, with an approximate arrival at 6:00 pm.
