Here is a summary of your first day of travel to Chivay and the Colca Valley:

– Scenic Route: You embark on a journey of approximately 4 to 5 hours by road, passing through Arequipa, Juliaca, Puno and Cusco, in the direction of Chivay and the Colca Valley.
– First Stop – Pampa Cañahuas: The first stop is made in the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, known as Pampa Cañahuas, at an altitude of 3,900 meters. Here you can enjoy the views and observe the local flora and fauna.
– Second Stop – Restaurante el Chinito: The second stop is at Restaurante el Chinito, located at 4,000 meters above sea level. Here you can rest, use the bathrooms and enjoy a coca tea.
