Itinerary
Día 1 – Cusco - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valley - Cusco
📍 Cusco (Hotel)
The tour starts very early, between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m., with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco.
📍 Mollepata
2.5 hour drive to the town of Mollepata, where breakfast is served and supplies can be purchased.
📍 Soraypampa (3900 m a.s.l.)
We continue 1.5 hours on a dirt road to Soraypampa, with views of the snow-capped Salkantay.
📍 Walk to Laguna Humantay
2 km trekking, ascending, 1.5 to 2 hours, appreciating mountain landscapes, snow and Andean flora.
📍 Humantay Lagoon (4200 m a.s.l.)
Turquoise lagoon fed by glaciers. Enjoy views of the Salkantay snow-capped mountain and explanations from the guide.
📍 Return to Soraypampa and Mollepata
We descend on foot to Soraypampa and take transport to Mollepata to enjoy an Andean lunch.
📍 Cusco (Return)
Return to the city of Cusco. The tour ends at approximately 6:30 p.m.
