Itinerary
Day 1
We begin by picking you up from your hotel and heading to the amazing Killi Killi natural viewpoint, which boasts the most incredible panoramic views of the city of La Paz and its picturesque gardens.
Luego, nuestro siguiente destino será la Plaza Murillo, donde se encuentra la sede del gobierno boliviano, la inmensa Catedral y el Palacio Presidencial coloquialmente conocido como el Palacio Quemado.
We will cross the city south towards the amazing Valley of the Moon, on the way we will see the replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiahuanaco, which is located in front of the stadium of the city of La Paz.
We will arrive at the fantastic Valley of the Moon, located 10 km from the city center. We will hike through the majestic geological formations, sculpted by wind erosion into astonishing rock formations. You will witness a true work of art created by nature.
After these fabulous experiences, from the Libertador station we will begin our aerial adventure, boarding the world’s highest modern cable car, which will allow you to contemplate amazing panoramic views of the city of La Paz; you will see the majestic snow-capped Illimani, guardian of the city’s three peaks.
Upon arriving at the Sopocachi station, we will board the bus again heading towards the famous Witches’ Market, a place full of traditions and items used to perform ancestral Andean rituals.
We will continue our tour through the steep streets of the city surrounded by colorful handicrafts until we reach the Church of San Francisco, whose impressive Baroque-Mestizo style construction houses on its facade characteristics of indigenous symbols, such as masks, dragons, tropical birds and snakes with Catholic images.
We end our tour in the heart of La Paz, where you can continue exploring the traditions of the ancestral culture.
