TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Dear customer, before booking any service with Lucky Perú Tour S.A.C., we suggest you carefully read these terms and conditions. In accordance with Peruvian travel regulations, when booking a tour or trek with Lucky Perú Tour S.A.C., you automatically agree to these regulations, which may differ slightly from those in your country of origin. Therefore, we suggest you carefully read the terms and conditions described below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our staff. After this, you will be ready to make your formal booking with us.

RESERVATIONS:

Once you have decided to make a formal booking with Lucky Peru Tour S.A.C., you must complete our online booking form on our website for the tour or trek you wish to take. We request the following information: Full name as it appears on your passport (nicknames are not accepted), passport number (if your passport number changes after booking a tour, please inform us), age, nationality, phone number, gender, email address, dietary requirements, flight dates, arrival time in Cusco or the other city covered by the booked tour, allergies, medical restrictions, or anything else you feel we should know.

RESERVATIONS FOR THE INCA TRAIL:

If you make a reservation for the Inca Trail, please note the following:

Antes de reservar el Camino Inca, debe asegurarse de la disponibilidad de espacios, para la fecha en que desea realizar esta caminata.
Once you have chosen a start date for the hike, you cannot change this start date.
Permits for the Inca Trail are not transferable to other people.
Para reservar el Camino Inca debe enviarnos una copia o una foto de los pasaportes de cada miembro de su grupo.
You must send us a passport valid for the start date of your hike.

INITIAL DEPOSIT:

To make a formal reservation for any program, itinerary or tour with Lucky Peru Tour S.a.c, you must send us a deposit as follows:

For any Inca Trail to Machu Picchu = $200 US dollars per person.
For any alternative hike = $200 US dollars per person.
For any Inca Trail to Machu Picchu + Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain = $270 US dollars per person.
For any Amazon Jungle Trip = $200 US dollars per person.
For any Peru Package = 40% of the total Package Price.
For any other tour = $200 US dollars per person.

PLEASE NOTE: All deposits to formalize a tour, hike or program are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person under any circumstances.

PAYMENT METHODS:

Dear Customer, Lucky Peru Tour offers you 4 payment methods to make your initial deposit or to pay the remainder of the total price of the tour, trek or program booked. These methods are detailed below:

THE FINAL PAYMENT:

Puede hacer su pago final, 15 días antes de la fecha de inicio de su tour, caminata o programa, puede utilizar uno de los 4 métodos de pago descritos anteriormente, también puede pagar su pago final 5 días antes de su fecha de inicio aquí en Cusco, puede ser en efectivo, tarjetas de crédito o débito.

Note: Once you make the final payment of the total price, if for any reason you decide to cancel your tour, hike or program, you will only be refunded 50% of the final payment.

CANCELLATIONS:

At any time, the client/buyer may cancel the requested or contracted services without any right to a refund of the deposit paid. The client is only entitled to a 50 percent refund if they have made the final payment of the total price. In our experience, a certain percentage of bookings are canceled by the client before the program begins due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellation penalties are detailed below.

For the Classic Inca Trail: Because Inca Trail regulations are very strict, if you or someone in your group wishes to cancel your Inca Trail reservation, you will be charged a penalty of 60% of the total price. For example, the cost of the Inca Trail based on 2 people is $650 per person, so 60% = $390. If you sent a deposit of $200, the penalty will be $390 – $200 = $190

For the 2-Day, 1-Night Inca Trail: Due to strict regulations for the Inca Trail, if you or anyone in your group wishes to cancel your reservation, you will be charged a penalty of 60% of the total price. For example, the cost of the 2-Day/1-Night Inca Trail based on 2 people is $500 per person, so 60% = $300. If you sent a deposit of $200, the penalty will be $300 – $200 = $100

Para el Camino Inca Clásico: Para caminatas alternativas: si usted o alguien de su grupo desea cancelar cualquier caminata alternativa, debe pagar una penalización del 50% del precio total. Por ejemplo el costo del Salkantay Trek basado en 2 personas es de 450 $ por persona, entonces el 50% = 225 $ si envió un depósito de 150 $ la penalidad será de 225 $ – 150 = 75 $

For Peru Packages: If you or someone in your group wishes to cancel any Peru Package, you must pay a penalty of 50% of the total price. For example, if a Peru Package for 2 people costs $1500 per person, then 50% = $750. If you sent a deposit of 40% of the total price, in this case $600, then the penalty will be $750 – $600 = $150

For any other tour or program: If you or someone in your group wishes to cancel any other tour or program, you must pay a penalty of 50% of the total price. For example, the Machu Picchu by Train 2 Days and 1 Night tour based on 2 people costs $480 per person, so 50% = $240. If you sent a deposit of $150, then the penalty will be $240 – $150 = $90

Note: You have up to 15 days before your tour start date to make any cancellations mentioned above. After 15 days, if you wish to cancel your tour, you will be required to pay the full price of the tour, trek, or program booked and will not be entitled to any refund. Furthermore, if someone in your group decides to cancel any tour or trek, they must pay the full price of the tour or trek. Otherwise, the other members of the group are obligated to pay the full price of the trek for the person who cancels if the other members of the group wish to continue. Otherwise, the tour or trek will be canceled.

FORCE MAJEURE

We will retain the full amount, and Lucky Perú Tour S.a.c. is not responsible for the client’s failure to appear due to flight delays or cancellations. The company is not liable for damage to or loss of luggage, accidents, unforeseen expenses and unavoidable delays, services provided by third parties, or direct causes beyond our control. In the unfortunate event of a no-show due to unforeseen circumstances, the company will provide the client with a certificate to process with their insurance company. This includes any event that Lucky Perú Tour S.a.c. cannot, even with the utmost care, foresee or prevent. This covers events such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activities, labor disputes, illnesses, pandemics, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fires, or all similar events beyond our control. In this case, Lucky Perú Tour S.a.c. will not accept liability and reserves the right to change, postpone, or even cancel trips (this is, of course, a last resort!).

RIESGOS ASOCIADOS CON NUESTROS TOURS, CAMINATA O PROGRAMAS

Al reservar cualquiera de nuestros tours, caminatas o programas (Camino Inca a Machu Picchu, Salkantay Trek, Ausangate Trek, Choquequirao Trek, Lares Trek, Manu Jungle Trips y más) usted asume los riesgos asociados con estos tours, caminatas o programas, Local Trekkers Perú Company no acepta ninguna responsabilidad asociada con los riesgos que estos tours, caminatas o programas puedan tener. (Accidentes, huelgas, terremotos, factores climáticos, condiciones de seguridad, factores políticos, denegación de permisos de ingreso, temas de salud, entre otros) además, Tocapus Cusco Trek S.a.c nos exonera de responsabilidad en relación con asuntos legales u otros inconvenientes en los que el Cliente puedan verse involucrados, así como los gastos personales en que incurra el pasajero por esta causa.

PRICES AND RATES

All prices and rates displayed to the customer/buyer on our website are subject to change, availability, and validity without prior notice. Restrictions and conditions apply to each published rate according to its validity.

CUSTOMER OR BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Responsibilities and Representations:

a) Verify that your passaport has the minimum validity required for your trip according to the destination country

b) the client declares that he has no restrictions on leaving the country due to criminal offensesm, in accordaece with the provisions of peruvian laws

c) Declare that youhave been informed and have received understood and accepted all the terms , conditions and restrictions on the services and products provided by tocapus cusco trek S.a.c

d) Accept these terms and conditions in full.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF LOCAL TREKKERS IN PERU

Lucky Perú Tour S.A.C. is responsible for fulfilling all the terms and conditions of our tours, hikes, programs, and travel packages, as described on our website, and for providing all the information required by the client. In the event of force majeure, Local Trekkers Perú will do everything within its power to help our clients resolve any issues.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Lucky Perú Tour S.a.c. reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice..
